Polyglot Translations

In what was the largest hybrid event post Covid-19, Polyglot Translations supported the Huawei Developer Conference 2020 in Guangdong China with simultaneous interpretation services for 6 languages.

The event was held in the Bank of Dongguan Basketball Centre, a stadium-size venue with a seating capacity for over 16,000 people. Polyglot was assigned to set-up and provide seamless interpretation services throughout the venue and manage it using Bosch Conference system equipment.

Polyglot was also responsible for providing all 10 interpreters for all languages: English, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, German and Arabic Arabian, through the huge pool of professionals that we hold.

All ISO-standard interpretation booths were located at the stadium backstage equipped with monitors for the interpreters to watch the panel and speakers activity during interpretation.

All languages were live-streamed to audiences from across the world, making it critical for Polyglot to ensure uninterrupted delivery of all interpretation channels inside and outside the venue at all times!
